Crossing – Tees Sculpture Trail #15 (Middlesbrough, Pat Walls, 2021)

Part of the Tees Sculpture Trail from River Tees Rediscovered, Pat Wall’s ‘Crossing’ is a cast iron Möbius strip on a sandstone plinth, with the infinite loop representing the link between the two banks of the river.

As you can see, it’s found next to the Transporter Bridge, with a growing number of new works to be found in the area. I’ll be covering them all over time.
